After growing up with an older sister with disabilities, I believe everyone deserves to feel empowered, reach their dreams, and find their unique voice. 

I went to school to pursue broadcast journalism but figured out pretty quickly that my heart just wasn’t in it. I’ve always had a love for helping people and wanted to find a way to blend my passions together.

When I started working at the Inland Regional Center, I realized there was a demand for the kind of program I wanted to create – one that fused together the power of media and film with the chance to build essential skills for work and life. That’s when The Media Lab took shape. 

Today, we are an innovative film and media program servicing consumers of the Inland Regional Center. We created this program for individuals who desire to be challenged while having fun in the process. Centered on building community and fostering creativity, we’re here to help you reach that next step towards your dreams.
